Day-by-Day

DAY 1 Meet-and-Greet

We meet 15h00 at Drotsky’s Cabins, Botswana

DAY 1, 2 & 3 (51km) DROTSKY’S CABINS - NGEPI CAMP

Border crossing today and very scenic drive to our lovely camp on the Kavango river.

Day 2 & 3

We drive around in different parks.

DAY 4 (160km) NGEPI CAMP - KHAUDUM WILD CAMP

Early start as we have some 4×4 sand driving to do today. Our wild camp is just outside the Khaudum National Park.

DAY 5 (98km) KHAUDUM WILD CAMP - SIREKETI

We drive through the park to the camp in the South. 4×4 sand driving can be difficult and we stop regularly for coffee and photos; just be careful…they also call this park the “true wilderness”. Hopefully we can see some Elephant.

DAY 6 (185km) SIREKETI - MAKURU CAMP

We leave the park and drive through the Naye Naye Pans. Stay in the spoor as these pans, when wet, can be treacherous.

DAY 7 & 8 (270km) MAKURU CAMP - GUMA LODGE

Early start as we have a border crossing and dirt road today. We sleep next to the beautiful Delta. Boat cruises and makoro rides can be chartered. Lovely place to stay.

DAY 9 (330km) GUMA LODGE - EL-FARI CAMP

We leave the Delta with good memories and drive the long tar road to El-Fari camp.

DAY 10 (334km) EL-FARI CAMP - KANG

Our last day and night together. The tar road is in a good condition but be on the look out for stray animals. Restaurant and swimming pool are available at Kalahari Rest.
