MEET & GREET

We meet at Pofadder “Rus-‘n-bietjie” caravan park.

DAY 1 & 2 (136km) RUS ‘N BIETJIE – GROOT MELKBOOM

Driving an interesting dirt road today and camp for two days next to the Orange River (Gariep). Anglers, you will enjoy the crystal-clear water and beautiful Yellow fish.

DAY 3 & 4 (33km) GROOT MELKBOOM – RAMANSDRIF

Ramansdrif has a beauty of its own! Again, camping next to the Orange River, relaxing and admire nature.

DAY 5 & 6 (128km) RAMANSDRIF – BUSHWACKED

Be on the lookout for beautiful Quiver trees and the indigenous “Halfmens” plant. Bushwacked have ablutions, electricity and a cash bar.

DAY 6: An experienced guide will take you to go rowing on the Orange River for the morning. Beautiful scenery awaits you!

DAY 7 (72km) BUSHWACKED – XAMIN XAIP

We are going to drive through the very scenic Helskloof and Nababeep Park today. We will stop at the petroglyphs and make our own rock pile before driving the Helskloof Pass.

DAY 8 (73km) XAMIN XAIP – KLIPGAT

We drive the very scenic route through the Richtersveld and reach our camp late afternoon.

DAY 9 (88km) TIERHOEK – BAKKRANS

88km Driving though the beautiful Richtersveld’s vastness. Tonight we will enjoy our last big campfire together with beautiful memories.

R9 500.00 per person. Children under 12, half price.

TOUR DATE: 25 September – 3 October 2022 (“Meet & Greet” 24 September)

Stoftrappers responsibility:

• Guide with 4×4 vehicle.
• All camp fees.
• 2-Way Radio’s.
• Dinners.
• Satellite Phone for emergency calls.

Your responsibility:

• Own 4×4 vehicle, fuel, and camp gear and equipment.
• Recovery gear and compressor.
• Recovery points, front and back.
• Own toilet and shower.
• Own water, drinks, snacks, breakfasts and lunches.
• Any other recreational activities.
• 6 big bags wood, 2 bags charcoal briquettes and 2 packets firelighters
• “Blits”.
• Own medicine.
• Accommodation at Pofadder, “Meet and Greet.
