MEET & GREET
9:00 am at Vanrhynsdorp Shell fuel station. We leave for our camp in Gifberg. Water, electricity and ablution available.

DAY 1 (100km) GIFBERG – DOORNBAAI WILD CAMP
We depart after breakfast and drive the Ou Berg Pass to our overnight wild camp. We fill up with fuel in Vredendal.


DAG 2 (100km) DOORNBAAI – WILD CAMP 2
Today we visit the Olifants River where it flows into the sea. We drive through Lutzville where shops and fuel are available. We also visit Eskom Sere wind farm. Tonight, we camp next to the sea!

DAY 3 (79km) WILD CAMP 2 – KOTZES CAMP
We leave the coast and travel inland to visit the small town, Kotzesrus. Tonight, we camp on a farm.
DAY 4 & 5 (26km) – KOTZES CAMP – WILD CAMP 3
We drive towards the coast. We let our tyres down to .8 BAR front, and rear tyres1.2 BAR as we will be driving thick sand! Our camp for the next two days is next to the cold Atlantic Ocean.

DAY 6 (187km) WILD CAMP 3 – KLEINZEE
Early morning start as today is a lot of gravel road driving. We visit the Spoeg River caves and seal colonies.

DAY 7 (143km) KLEINZEE – SPRINGBOK
We drive the Wildeperdehoek Pass and Messel Pass and visit the old jail that was built in 1867. Our last evening together in Springbok Caravan Park.

TOUR DATES:
24 December – 30 December 2022 (“Meet & Greet” 23 December)
Stoftrappers responsibility:
- Experienced guide.
- All camping fees, except Springbok Caravan Park.
- Park Fees.
- 2-Way radios.
- Satellite phone for emergency calls.
Your responsibility:
- Own 4×4 vehicle, fuel, and camp gear and equipment. (4×2 welcome, if not towing)
- Recovery gear and compressor.
- Recovery points, front and back.
- Own toilet and shower.
- Own water, drinks, snacks, breakfasts, lunches and dinners.
- Any other recreational activities.
- 6 big bags of wood, 2 bags of charcoal briquettes and 2 packets of firelighters “Blits”.
- Own medicine.
- Last evening accommodation.
